The Dictionary is a web site designed and coded to emulate the non-linear experience of interacting with an analog dictionary online, and how analog page pairings create poetic juxtapositions and discoveries of language. I try to complicate the notion of a comprehensive volume of language, while also highlighting the beauty and poetry of such an object.

Ella (she/they) is a designer/artist/educator/writer/fanatic journaler pursuing her MFA in Graphic Design. She previously studied Art History and Science, Technology, and Society, focusing on linguistics and art/writing practice.
